Legs:

Four ¾ inch Nylon threaded rods that can use off the shelf ¾-10 inch nylon nuts.
By having 10 turns per inch it is easy to adjust the stand to assure that it is level.
There are two nuts, one on each side of the base, finger tighten to secure the legs to the base.
Having threaded rods with adjusting nuts allows for easy elevation adjustment.
And quick removal for more compact storage

Bottom section keyed to base or extension, has indicator for Elevation gauge.
Middle section has elevation reading and indicator for skew/tilt gauge.
Top section keyed to post has skew/tilt gauge.
Two stainless steel bolts with handled nuts connect the three sections
